Artistic Motion Dance Academy was founded in 2010, by Angela McCord McGarity. Mrs. Angela began growing her AMDA dance family in Crowley, and later transitioned to Burleson in 2012. We are proud to offer THREE spacious, state of the art, dance studios, with sprung dance floors, floor to ceiling mirrors, viewing windows for observers, and advanced sound systems! Our BRAND NEW facility provides plenty of room for students to learn, grow, & have fun dancing! We also have a large lobby, private dressing room for dancers, and ample parking! Along with providing a safe space for your dancers and implementing quality dance education & training, we are continuously reminding our dancers of the beauty and importance of dance through the AMDA motto:

FACULTY

All of our instructors at AMDA are professional dancers and educators who have an unmatched passion for dance and get pure joy out of teaching others to dance. They are renowned dancers who provide students with the basic skills they need to go on and express themselves fully in the dance style they prefer.


In addition to being highly accomplished in their fields, they are also energetic, positive, supportive, and sincerely caring people. You’ll leave our classes feeling happy, motivated, and more energetic than you felt when you walked in!


At AMDA, we strongly believe that we are not only molding the minds, attitudes, and work ethic of dancers, but of young girls and boys as well. Our instructors focus equally on building character as much as they do on refining dance skills. We're not just "teaching dance"...we're teaching our students different ways to learn, problem solve, work as a team, build confidence, establish friendships, apply criticism, and tackle challenges all through the art of dance.

In addition to quality dance classes, AMDA also offers the opportunity for technical growth and performance experience through our recreational performance teams, as well as our multiple award-winning and nationally recognized competitive company - Magnetic Motion.
